Larry Hysong, 78, of Lebanon, passed away Apr. 21, 2020, at Witham Memorial Hospital.
Larry was born July 16, 1941, in Boone County, a son of the late Alonzo and Ruth (McCann) Hysong.
Larry graduated from Pinnell High School in 1960. He worked for the Boone County Highway Department for 42 years, retiring in 2006. Larry also worked for Lucas Oil for over 30 years. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Lebanon. Larry always enjoyed watching his nephews play football.
Survivors include his sister, Peg (Greg) McKinnon of Lebanon; sister-in-law, Carolyn Hysong of Jamestown; and nieces and nephews, Mike, Amy, Matt, Neil, and Sarah. In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Hysong.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
