At approximately 4:57 AM this morning, the Boone County Communications Center received a phone call from a concerned citizen stating that there was a male subject with a firearm walking in the area of Lakeview Dr and Karen Dr in Zionsville, IN. It was also reported by the concerned citizen that the male subject pointed the firearm at them prior to law enforcements arrival. Once law enforcement arrived on scene, the male subject retreated into a nearby family members residence. At this time, the male subject is the only person within the residence and law enforcement has established a perimeter around the residence to contain the male subject in one location.
