The Lebanon Community School Board approved the 2022 budget at the October meeting. The budget will be $50 million and the tax rate is advertised as $1.1284 per $100 of assessed value. The board also approved a $5.5 million general obligation bond issue for a new softball complex, nine school bus purchases, food service equipment and HVAC replacement and roofing at various buildings. LCSC also negotiated a new two-year agreement with the Lebanon Classroom Teachers Association. It will be in effect through June of 2023. The district will increase teacher wages overall by $620,000 each school year.
