Fire crews were dispatched to the address of 3010 E 400 S in rural Lebanon at approximately 10:39 PM on April 28th, 2020 on report of a structure fire with fire showing through the roof. Responding personnel confirmed a working barn fire as they approached and noted a residence near the burning structure. Upon arrival of the first fire apparatus crews took defensive measures as the structure was unstable due to the fire damage. Crews continued to apply water from the exterior and the fire was marked under control at 11:21 PM. Extensive overhaul of the structure was done at that time to ensure hotspots were extinguished and all crews cleared the scene at approximately 12:54 AM.
The barn housed multiple classic vehicle and antique tractors, among other assorted tools and pieces of equipment that were destroyed by the fire. At this time the cause of the fire is under investigation, which will continue on April 29th. There were no reported injuries resulting from this incident to civilians or the firefighters on scene.
