Lebanon Fire called to 1311 North East Street.

The Lebanon Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire at 1311 North East Street at 1:42 Sunday morning, after a passerby observed smoke coming from the roof of the structure. Crews arrived to find fire on the exterior and attic space of the structure. Crews were able to have the fire under control within 10 minutes of arrival.

The occupants, home at the time of the fire and were able to exit before the fire department arrived. There were no injuries reported. Investigators determined the cause to be related to a wood smoker on the exterior igniting some ornamental grass nearby, traveling to a wood pile then to the exterior of the residence.
