On Monday, May 3rd at 9:15 pm fire crews were dispatched to 1110 Bibler St. on a mobile home fire. Deputy Chief of Operations Robert Wirey was first on the scene and marked the incident a “working fire”. Smoke and heavy fire was showing through a window. Crews made an interior attack and quickly brought the fire under control. Lt. Kurt Gott was assigned as the lead investigator. The cause and origin of the fire was deemed to be an unattended candle. Kristen Linton, Disaster Coordinator for the Salvation Army is currently working to assist the homeowners.
