Thanks to the efforts of the Lebanon Fire Department, Lebanon Water Department and 911 Dispatch centers, the city of Lebanon has been upgraded from a class four city to a class three for the Insurance Services Office audit. The ISO collects data, promulgates rating information, develops standard policy forms, and files information with state regulators on behalf of insurance companies that purchase its services. The information collected is then used to give cities a rating from one to 10, with one being the best you can do. Before this upgrade, Lebanon was at a four. More details in the Lebanon Reporter.
