At approximately 12:26 a.m. on June 3, officers from the Lebanon Police Department and the Boone County Sheriff’s Department responded to the residence of Lebanon Police Officer Terry L. Nelson, Jr. Responding units found Officer Nelson deceased in his residence. The Carmel police department is handling the investigation with assistance from the Lebanon Police Department. At this time no foul play is suspected.
