Lebanon Community Schools are joining 133 Indiana school districts and closing Nov. 19 because a majority of teachers are going to be at a rally at the Indiana State House. Students will now attend school on March 16 to make up the time lost.
More than 14,000 public school teachers are expected at the Red for Ed Action Day. Late Wednesday afternoon, LCSC Superintendent Jon Milleman made the decision to close schools or more accurately “will not hold a regular student instructional day,” according to an email sent to district parents.
