Members of the Thirst Club present a “Big Check.”

A student club at Lebanon High School has participated in the international service organization, “The Thirst Project,” for seven years now. Friday, they presented a check for $12,000 which was raised by student-led activities ranging from dance marathons and talent shows, to homeroom challenges. To date the LHS club has raised $44,000 to fund clean water wells in 13 targeted third world countries. The money presented  will build a well in Swaziland, a country on the African continent.
