Lynden White-Coleman

On September 16th, 2021, at approximately 12:43 pm, Zionsville Police Department patrol officers were notified of a License Plate Reader (LPR) alert for a stolen vehicle in the area of U.S. 421 and the southern Boone County Line. Patrol units in the area located the stolen vehicle, identified as a dark blue Infiniti.
Units attempted to initiate a traffic stop on the vehicle at which point, the vehicle began to flee. Units pursued the vehicle through the northwest part of Boone County until the pursuit was terminated as it entered Clinton County on Interstate 65. Shortly after the pursuit was terminated, a Tippecanoe County Sheriff’s Office member notified Boone County Dispatch that he had located the vehicle disabled in Tippecanoe County just north of the Clinton County line. The driver of the vehicle then fled on foot and was lost sight of. Zionsville units responded to the scene to inventory the vehicle and also initiated a canine area search. A Zionsville Police Canine
Unit located the suspect, Lynden White‐Coleman, in the nearby area. White‐Coleman was taken into custody without incident and transported to Boone County Jail.
Lynden White‐Coleman, 23, of Kokomo was arrested and preliminarily charged with the following:
Possession of Stolen Property – Level 6 Felony
Resisting Law Enforcement – Level 6 Felony
White‐Coleman was also found to have warrants out of Howard County for Robbery and Pointing a Firearm. Zionsville Police Department was assisted by the Boone County Sheriff’s Department, Thorntown Police Department, Indiana State Police, and Tippecanoe County Sheriff’s Office.
