Linda Kay Kammerer Bell, 74, of Lebanon, Indiana, passed away Monday morning, April 10, 2023, at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born December 31, 1948 in Lebanon, a daughter of Cecil James and Barbara Jean (Miller) Kammerer.
Linda was a 1969 graduate of Lebanon High School. She was employed with Liberty Mutual in a clerical capacity for 33 years, retiring 12 years ago. Linda also worked part-time at Hardees for 20 years. She was a member of Traders Point Christian Church.
An avid Elvis Presley fan, Linda enjoyed attending the Back to the Fifties Festival each year. She was a member of a bowling league and in her down time, enjoyed doing word searches. Above all, Linda loved her family and took great pride in her nieces and nephews.
Survivors include siblings, Jane E. Kelley of Lebanon, Joseph C. (Lois) Kammerer of Lebanon, and Alice J. Bailey of Frankfort; sister-in-law, Twyla Floyd of Lebanon; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by two brothers, James P. Kammerer and Arnold L. “Arnie” Kammerer; sister-in-law, Sandy Kammerer; and a brother-in-law, William “Bill” Kelley.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana with visitation from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon.
