Loretta Jean Campbell, 33, of Thorntown, Indiana, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2023, at Witham Memorial Hospital in Lebanon. She was born in Indianapolis on December 28, 1989, a daughter of Julia Lynne (Parker) Campbell and the late George E. Campbell. After a lifelong struggle with Cerebral Palsy and struggles from premature birth, she is running, dancing, skipping, and jumping into her daddy’s arms.
Loretta enjoyed attending the day program at the Arc of Greater Boone County in Lebanon. One of her favorite events was to go to Pizza Hut for lunch and she enjoyed movies and watching videos of Walt Disney World.
Survivors include her mother, Lynne Campbell of Thorntown; siblings, George Ellis Campbell, Jr. of Florida and Susan Catherine (Shawn) Byrum of Indianapolis; and special caregivers, Donna Belcher and Christy Ford.
In addition to her father, Loretta was preceded in death by a brother, Leland William Campbell.
Memorial Services are planned for Monday, May 22, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Lighthouse Baptist Church in Lebanon. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services. Burial of Ashes will be held at a later date at Maple Lawn Cemetery in Thorntown. Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory have been entrusted with her care.
