Mrs. Lottie Mae Hale, 91, passed away at home in Lebanon, Indiana, on Thursday, February 24, 2022 with family by her side. She was born Lebanon, on September 2, 1930; a daughter of the late Moses and Mary Louise (Butler) Nease.

She was a graduate of Lebanon High School. On April 3, 1948 she was united in marriage to Dewey Amos Hale. He preceded her in death on August 30, 1973.
Lottie was a member of Walnut Street Baptist Church in Lebanon. She loved BINGO and playing on the slot machines. She also enjoyed cooking, baking for her family. She was loving, kind and always put family and friends first before herself. She also enjoyed taking golf cart rides with her daughters.
Survivors include her two sons, Rick (Lana) Hale of Lebanon, Jim (Joni) Hale of Lebanon; two daughters, Debbie (Mel) Bailey of Lebanon, Brenda (Jim) Engle of Lebanon; seven grandchildren, Josh Hale, Jake Hale, Heather Rusciano, Chad Hale, Brad Bailey, Melissa Brown, Shelley Krise; six great grandchildren, David, Rylan, Jordan, Rhett, Reese & Skylar; great-great granddaughter, Alexa; sister, Betty (Jim) Myers of Lebanon.
In addition to her parents and husband, Lottie was preceded in death by two sons, Tony Hale and Michael Hale; brothers, Jerry Nease, Marvin Nicely; sisters, Mary Campbell, Mozelle Wyatt and Beverly Anderson.
In honor of Lottie’s wishes, there will be no public services. Graveside memorial services will be held at a later date at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon, where she will be laid to rest beside her husband and son, Tony.
Memorials may be given in her honor to the Boone County Cancer Society, St. Jude’s Children’s Research or Humane Society of Boone County.
