Lucinda R. “Cindy” Summers, 76, passed away Sunday, September 26, 2021 at Witham Memorial Hospital in Lebanon, Indiana. She was born on February 17, 1945 in Sioux City, Iowa; a daughter of Stephen F. and Virginia E. (Youngberg) Rosner.
She was a 1967 graduate of St. Mary-of-the-Woods College in Indiana. Following college, she remained very active with the alumni association. Cindy was also honored as a 1983 recipient of the distinguished alumni award, “Mother of Theodore Guerin” from St. Mary-of-the-Woods College.
Cindy began her career as a real estate agent and later worked with title companies as a property researcher. She retired after working many years in the real estate business in both Terre Haute and Lebanon.
She was a faithful member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Lebanon. Cindy was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, who enjoyed helping others.
Survivors include her mother: Virginia E. Rosner of Woodstock, Illinois; daughter, Elizabeth S. (David) Huff of Batavia, Ohio; son, Charles W-F (Virginia) Summers of St. Louis, Missouri; six grandchildren; sister, Diane Elizabeth Shaw of Woodstock, Illinois
Cindy was preceded in death by her father, Stephen F. Rosner.
Memorial Mass is planned for 4:00 p.m. on Friday, October 1, 2021 at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 319 East South Street in Lebanon.
