A man already charged with battering his fiancé went to jail when he fought police in front of her house Nov. 2, according to court records. Monica Crump, also referred to as Monica Sweet in court records, called police that night to say her boyfriend, Cody R. Smith, 28, was drunk outside of her Lebanon home, police reported.
