Marcia Jones, 67, of Lebanon, passed away Tuesday, Sep. 19, 2023, at her home in Lebanon, surrounded by family. She was born Jul. 21, 1956, in Lebanon, a daughter of Lois (Livingston) Jones and the late Robert Earl Jones, Sr. Marcia married Ron Britt on Jul. 21, 1990, and he preceded her in death Sep. 1, 2020.
Marcia graduated from Lebanon High School with the class of 1974. She worked for Herff Jones for over 40 years, retiring in 2020. She loved traveling, especially on Florida trips or to the beach. Marcia also enjoyed going to amusement parks and riding roller coasters. She loved the outdoors, where she spent a lot of time camping and going to Raccoon Lake with her family.
Survivors include her sons, Austin (Kacie) Britt of Omaha, NE and Shane (Amy) Britt of Lebanon; mother, Lois Jones of Lebanon; siblings, Robert “Bobby” (Melody) Jones of Lebanon, Barbara (Dennis) Lindstom of Seminole, FL, and Kathy Jones (Ronny) of Lebanon; granddaughter, Lexy Britt Buis (Jon) of Lebanon; nieces and nephews, Steven (Lauren) Davis, Tracy (Elisha) Davis, Adam (Sarah) Zell, Jake (Michelle) Myers, and Jeremy Wallsmith; and several great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father and husband, Marcia was preceded in death by her nephews, Jacob Zell and Robert Jones, III.
Family and friends will gather Saturday, Sep. 23, for visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon.
