Mariah Rose Tomey and Hadley Rose Tomey, of Lebanon, entered heaven together Sunday, January 5, 2020, after sustaining injuries from an automobile accident.
Mariah was born May 7, 1998 in Terre Haute, Indiana, to Debra L. (Hodge) Tomey and Leonard E. Tomey, Jr.
She was a 2016 graduate of Lebanon High School where she enjoyed dancing with the Tigerettes and running cross country. Following high school, she attended Ivy Tech for a short period of time.
On November 23, 2018, Mariah gave birth to a beautiful little girl, Hadley Rose Tomey, the light of her life. She adored her daughter and was a loving and devoted mother to Hadley.
Mariah was a member of Lebanon Christian Church and regularly attended Traders Point Christian Church. She loved Jesus and is now in His presence along with her daughter, Hadley. Mariah always had a smile on her face and brought light into every encounter with her friends and family. They both will be tremendously missed.
Survivors include mother and grandmother, Debra Tomey of Lebanon; father and grandfather, Leonard E. Tomey, Jr. of Arcadia; sister and aunt, Kasey Tomey and her boyfriend, Erik Perez of Lebanon; grandparents and great grandparents, Patricia and Joe Wood of Davenport, FL; many aunts and uncles, including, Tim (Kathy) Hodge of Frankfort, Daniel (Pam) Hodge of Avon, Julie (Thom) Lamerson of Lebanon and Missy (Derek) Irvin of Noblesville; along with several cousins.
They were preceded in death by their paternal grandparents/great grandparents.
Friends and family will gather from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 11, 2020, at Lebanon Christian Church, 610 West 250 North Lebanon, Indiana. Memorial services will begin at 4:00 p.m.
Myers Mortuary in Lebanon is handling the arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in their memory to the charity of the donor’s choice.
