Marilene O. Frederick, 86, of Lebanon, died Saturday, June 24, 2023, at Witham Memorial Hospital in Lebanon surrounded by family. She was born June 4, 1937, in Boone County, a daughter of the late Donald Leslie and Ruby Verona (Cassity) Games. She married Cecil Frederick on Aug. 30, 1956, and he preceded her in death in 2004.

Marilene graduated from Bainbridge High School with the class of 1955. She was a homemaker and worked odd jobs while raising her kids. Later, she worked for the Jamestown Christian Church Daycare and Kauffman Industries, until she retired in 2004.

Marilene was an accomplished quilter and made many quilts over the years that she gifted to family and friends. She also enjoyed crocheting, knitting, coloring, reading, and playing cards and dominoes. She was a volunteer at Witham Memorial Hospital for about 15 years. Marilene was loved by anyone who met her and was known for always taking care of people, especially her family. She was a Godly woman and was a faithful member of the Harvestime Fellowship Church in Jamestown. She had been a resident at CrownPointe Assisted Living since 2018.

Survivors include her children, Cindy (Paul) Walker of Lafayette, Keith Frederick of Lebanon, and Marcy (Abdessamia) Elhamidi of Brownsburg; siblings, Charles Games of Plainfield, Linda Stark of Crawfordsville, Leroy Games of Rockville, and Pam (Ron) Robbins of Crawfordsville; 15 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, six great- great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Marilene was preceded in death by her children, Ron Frederick and Heidi Sheets; and siblings, Bonnie Thompson, Elsie Haworth, Kenneth Games, Sally Lacy, and Paul Games.

Family and friends will gather Saturday, July 1, for visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. in the Harvestime Fellowship Church, 7925 Old Union Road, Jamestown, IN 46147.
