Mrs. Mary Lou Grimes, 82, passed away at Signature Healthcare at Parkwood in Lebanon, Indiana, on Monday, January 18, 2021. She was born in Kentucky on March 7, 1938, a daughter of the late Clyde and Verna (Caudell) Stidham.
Mary was a loving mother of four children, Judy (Wayne) Plott, Bill Grimes, Steve Grimes and Carl Grimes. She had several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mary was a caring sister to seven siblings and the wife to her late husband, Luther Grimes.
Mary was the kindest person you would ever want to know. She was a loving friend, loved to go for walks, enjoyed flowers, doing word search puzzles and eating chocolate covered cherries.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Mary was preceded in death by two sons, Steven A. Grimes and Carl E. Grimes; a grandson, Travis Wayne Sloan;
Services are pending at this time. She will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon.
Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory have been entrusted with her cremation arrangements.
