Max Lowery, 85, passed away Thursday morning, February 2, 2023, in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born in Lafayette on March 17, 1937, a son of the late Ed and Katherine Lowery.
He graduated from Lebanon High School in 1956. Max married Marilyn Deakins, she survives.
Max work many years in the paint and body shop at Shelby Chevrolet and retired in 2003 from Gene Lewis Ford.
Max enjoyed playing cards. If you liked a good joke, Max would always have one for you.
In addition to his wife, Marilyn, Max is survived by a son, Lance (Madelyn) Lowery of Lebanon; stepdaughter: Kathy Curtis of Lebanon; stepson: Todd (Jodi) Stewart of Lebanon; and grandchildren: Ethan Lowery, Brandon Lowery, and Shannon Lowery.
In addition to his parents, Max was preceded in death by his son, Mike Lowery.
