Mr. Michael Wayne “Mick” Warmoth, Sr., 78, of Lebanon, died Sunday, March 5, 2023, at his home surrounded by family. He was born December 10, 1944, in Thorntown, a son of the late Ralph and Wilda (Johnson) Warmoth. He married Susan Johnson on June 4, 1965. She survives.

Mick worked as a truck driver and owned and operated two filling stations. He was also a police officer in Clarks Hill and worked for a lumber company. Mick enjoyed sports and dirt bike racing, along with deer hunting, fishing, playing poker, and mowing.

Survivors include his loving wife of 59 years, Susan Warmoth, who he adored; daughter, Kayla Warmoth; grandchildren, Allie, Brady, Ryder, Blake, Jersey, and Elysian; great grandson, Quincy; and sister, Donna Newman.

In addition to his parents, Mick was preceded in death by his son, Michael Wayne Warmoth, Jr.; grandson, Easton; brother, Tom Warmoth; and sister, Iris Isenhour.

Family and friends will gather Saturday, March 11, for visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon. Mick will be laid to rest at Maple Lawn Cemetery in Thorntown.
