Mr. Tom Douglas “Doug” Manning, 42, of Indianapolis, passed away Nov. 3, 2019.

Doug was born Jan. 25, 1977 in Indianapolis, a son of Audrey Manning and the late Tom Manning.

Doug was a graduate of Ben Davis High School. He enjoyed truck driving with his dad, camping, cooking, karate and lifting weights. Doug was a devoted Christian with a special gift of reciting Bible chapters.

Survivors include his mother, Audrey Manning; children: Kyle D. Manning, Caitlin P. Manning and Kaiden A. Manning; the mothers of his children, Connie Jensen and Tonya Maxwell; and four aunts, four uncles, and 20 cousins. In addition to his father, Doug was preceded in death by grandparents Mary Manning and Orville and Betty Ferguson; uncles: Jerry Johnson, Jerry Thomas and Clifford Adams; aunts: Kathy Stewart and Evie Jo Thomas; cousin, Matt Sizemore and second mom, Carolyn Jensen.

Family and friends will gather Friday, Nov. 8, 2019 for visitation from 4-7 p.m. and the funeral service will be on Saturday, Nov. 9, at 11 a.m. in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon. Doug will be laid to rest at New Crown Cemetery in Indianapolis.
