A Muncie contractor was sentenced to a year in prison for stealing and cashing a Boone County resident’s personal check. Donald Coblentz was arrested in September of 2017 for theft and counterfeiting after a seven-month investigation. Coblentz pleaded guilty to counterfeiting, a level 6 felony, earlier this month. He was sentenced to two and a half years. He will serve one and a half years of probation and a year in prison. More details in the Lebanon Reporter.
