In loving memory of Nancy Lee Bishop (Elrod) Spaeth, 82, passed away on Monday, February 21, 2022 at Witham Memorial Hospital in Lebanon. She was born in Lebanon, Indiana on August 6, 1939; a daughter of the late Joseph and Helen (Wethington) Bishop.
She attended Lebanon High School and a graduate of Ivy Tech. Nancy was a skilled seamstress while raising her family. She is survived by her husband, Robert Spaeth of Lebanon. They were married on June 13, 2009.
Nancy was preceded in death by an infant brother, Harold; brother, Loren “Jack” Bishop; husband, Albert L. Elrod, Jr.; daughter, Charlotte “Charlie” (Elrod) Standeford; son-in-law, Ronald Standeford; daughters-in-law, Claire (Al) Elrod and Eva (Aubrey) Elrod.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by children: Ginger (Tom) Derickson, Delores (Bobby) Rutland, Roberta Elrod, Albert L. Elrod, III, Sandra (Lewis) Wynn, Aubrey (Candy) Elrod, Sr., Marijo Sheehan, Sylvia (Robert) McIntyre; 39 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; sister, Judith (Mike) Rader; brother, Robert (Carolyn) Bishop; as well as many loved nieces, nephews, friends, and other family of the heart.
Funeral Services are planned for 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 28, 2022 with Lewis Wynn officiating at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street in Lebanon.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service on Monday at the funeral home in Lebanon.
Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory have been entrusted with her cremation arrangements following services.
