Mrs. Nancy Merle Foster, 92, passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at Mill Pond Health Campus in Greencastle, Indiana. She was born March 14, 1929, in Hickman County, Kentucky; a daughter of the late Orville and Hazel (Condor) Grooms.
On December 24, 1966, she was united in marriage to John Gordan Foster in Lebanon, Indiana. He preceded her in death on August 4, 2000.
She retired from Witham Memorial Hospital as a medical assistant/ phlebotomist. She enjoyed bowling and being in the Red Hat Society. Most of all, she cherished her time with family and her grandchildren.
Survivors include four children: Steve Parker and wife, Patty of Orland Park, Illinois, Beth Kaplanek and husband, Chuck of Long Island, NY, Marty Watts and husband, Max of Greencastle, Indiana, Brent Parker of Naples, Florida; ten grandsons; three great granddaughters; one brother, Thomas Grooms and wife, Elaine of Edmond, Oklahoma.
Private Memorial Graveside services will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon, Indiana at a later date.
Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory have been entrusted with her cremation.
