Naomi K. Abraham, 83, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Nov. 27, 2021, at home.

She was born on Mar. 22, 1938, in Edgerton, IN, to Rev. B. Lloyd and Amy R. (Ford) Louks. She graduated from Frankfort Pilgrim Holiness School in 1954. She worked for Kokomo Public Service Company as a billing clerk for two years. Naomi worked at RCA after several years.

She became a foster mother and took in 21 different children into her home. Naomi (Omi) opened an in-home day care in 1970 and babysat many children through 2000 with lots of love.

Naomi found her spiritual home at Eastlawn Wesleyan Church in Indianapolis and was a faithful member for many years. She currently was a member of Hope Community Church in Lebanon. Naomi loved people and she enjoyed sitting and visiting with them. Most importantly she loved her family.

Naomi will be dearly missed by her husband of 64 years, Ronald L. Abraham; her daughters, Debora (Keith) Lyon and Darla Abraham; son, Dale (Timi) Abraham; sisters, Vivan Jackson and Mary Clark; grandchildren and great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, David L. Abraham; and sister, Orpha Craib.

Family and friends will gather Thursday, Dec. 2, for visitation from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon. The funeral ceremony will be Friday, Dec. 3, at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Naomi will be laid to rest at Sugar Plains Cemetery in Thorntown.

Memorial contributions in Naomi’s memory may be gifted to Hope Community Church, 665 W. 375 N., Lebanon, IN 46052.
