Wade hit 11-of-16 shots on his way to 28 points, seven rebounds, three assists and two steals. Miami evened up the best-of-seven matchup at one. Philadelphia had won its previous 17 games across the regular season and postseason. Game Three is in South Beach on Thursday.

The Raptors host the Wizards, the Bucks are at the Celtics and the Blazers welcome the Pelicans in Portland. Toronto, Boston and New Orleans are each up 1-0.

(Undated) — The Sharks are a game from moving on to the Western Conference semifinals after crushing the Ducks 8-1 at home. San Jose is up 3-0 in the best-of-seven first-round series. The Maple Leafs, Devils and Avalanche all trail in their respective matchups 2-1 after victories last night. Tonight, the Blue Jackets host the Capitals, the Jets are at the Wild and Golden Knights are in LA to play the Kings. Vegas can advance with a win.

(Flushing, NY) — The Nationals scored six times in the eighth inning and one in the ninth to erase a 6-1 deficit and stun the Mets 8-6 at Citi Field. Michael Taylor’s bases-loaded walk forced in the go-ahead run in the eighth and Howie Kendrick homered in the ninth for insurance. Bryce Harper also homered in the first on a pitch that broke his bat. AJ Ramos took the loss for New York.

(Durham, NC) — Another Duke underclassman is leaving school for the NBA. Wendall Carter Jr. announced Monday that he is passing on his final three years of eligibility with the Blue Devils to enter the NBA Draft. The big man is planning on hiring an agent and is expected to be a lottery pick. Duke already lost three other freshmen from last year’s team in Marvin Bagley the Third, Gary Trent Junior and Trevon Duval.
