The top-seeded Wildcats cruised past third-seeded Michigan 79-62 in the national championship game in San Antonio. ‘Nova claimed its second title in three seasons and third overall. The Wildcats finished 36-and-4. Michigan ended its season 33-and-8.

(San Antonio, TX) — Villanova’s Donte DiVincenzo [[ dee-vin-CHIN-zo ]] is the Most Outstanding Player of the Final Four. The Wildcats’ guard poured in a career-high 31 points in the title win over Michigan. DiVincenzo shot 10-of-15 from the floor, including 5-of-7 from three. He had 15 points and eight boards in the semifinal win over Kansas on Saturday.

(East Lansing, MI) — Jaren Jackson Jr. is entering the NBA Draft. He announced his decision on social media. The 6-foot-11 big man is widely expected to be a lottery pick and could go in the top-five. Jackson averaged 10.9 points and 5.8 rebounds as a freshman for the Spartans. He joins Miles Bridges as players leaving MSU early to turn pro.

(Tuscaloosa, AL) — Alabama might have a problem on its hand with LeBron James. James and his media platform “Uninterrupted” sent a letter to the school over possible copyright infringement and intellectual property appropriation.
