McCollum went for a career-high 50 points in only three quarters as Portland defeated the Bulls, 124-108. He broke a franchise record for points in a quarter with 28 in the opening 12 minutes.

(Boston, MA) — Boston Red Sox outfielder Mookie Betts will get the money he wants this season. Betts won his arbitration hearing against the Red Sox and will make 10-and-a-half million dollars for 2018. Boston was only willing to pay seven-and-a-half, but a three-judge panel ruled in Betts’ favor Wednesday at the hearing in Phoenix.
