Indianapolis hired Eagles OC Frank Reich [[ Rike ]], who is fresh of a Super Bowl win over the Patriots. ESPN reports it’s a five-year deal. He’s been with Philadelphia the past two seasons after two seasons as the Chargers’ offensive coordinator.

(Boston, MA) — The new look Cavaliers had a fresh start as they dominated the Celtics 121-99 in Boston. The four players Cleveland acquired at the trade deadline combined to score 49 points and helped the defense hold Boston to 40-percent shooting from the field. George Hill joined the starting lineup and put up 12 points. Jordan Clarkson had 17, Rodney Hood 15 and Larry Nance Jr. five.

(Boston, MA) — “The Truth” is joining the best of the best with the Celtics’ franchise. Paul Pierce had his number-34 hung in the TD Garden rafters after Boston’s loss to the Cavaliers on Sunday. It’s the 22nd number retired in franchise history. Pierce was key in helping the Celtics win the 2008 NBA championship, their 17th overall. He spent 15 seasons in Boston after being drafted in 1998.

Crosby tallied twice and is the 95th player in NHL history to accomplish the feat and the third Pittsburgh player. The other two are Jaromir Jagr [[ YAR-oh-meer YAH-gur ]] and Mario Lemieux [[ leh-MEW ]].
