League officials tell “The New York Times” Commissioner Roger Goodell will fine the Cowboys owner millions of dollars over Jones’ failed bid to delay Goodell’s contract extension. Jones is also going to be fined for defending Ezekiel Elliott, saying he didn’t think the running back should have been suspended.

(Undated) — The details of the soon to be completed Marcus Peters trade are starting to trickle out. ESPN reports the Chiefs will get a 2018 fourth-round pick and 2019 second-round pick from the Rams for their top cornerback. Kansas City will also ship a 2018 sixth-round pick to Los Angeles. The deal was agreed to last Friday, but can’t be completed officially until the new-league year starts on March 14th.
