Chicago is sending infielder Todd Frazier and relievers David Robertson and Tommy Kahnle to the Yankees in exchange for a package that includes top prospect Blake Rutherford. The Sox just shipped starting pitcher Jose Quintana to the Cubs last week.

(Boston, MA) — Hanley Ramirez’s solo homer in the bottom of the 15th gave the Red Sox a 5-4 win over the Blue Jays in another marathon at Fenway Park. The BoSox were able to outlast the Jays after suffering a 16-inning loss to the Yankees on Saturday. Boston has a two-game lead in the AL East.

(Flushing, NY) — Michael Wacha [[ WAH-kuh ]] tossed a three-hit shutout as the Cardinals blanked the Mets 5-0 in New York. He struck out eight and walked only one en route to improving to 7-and-3. Wacha went the distance for the first time in his career.

(Houston, TX) — An All-Star for the American League-leading Astros is going on the shelf. Shortstop Carlos Correa will miss six-to-eight weeks with a torn ligament in his left thumb. Correa is hitting .320 with 20 home runs and 67 RBI in 84 games this season.

(San Antonio, TX) — Manu Ginobili is returning for a 16th NBA season. ESPN reports the Spurs are finalizing a one-year contract with the soon-to-be 40-year-old. The four-time NBA champion has spent his entire 15-year career in San Antonio.
