(Cooperstown, NY)  —  Jeff Bagwell, Ivan Rodriguez and Tim Raines are the newest members of the National Baseball Hall of Fame.  The former All-Stars were inducted into the Hall yesterday.  Executive John Schuerholz and former commissioner Bud Selig were also enshrined.

>>Beltre Joins 3,000-Hit Club

(Arlington, TX)  —  Rangers slugger Adrian Beltre is joining some exclusive company.  Beltre became the 31st member of the 3,000-hit club in yesterday’s 10-6 loss to the Orioles.  Beltre is the first player from the Dominican Republic to ever accomplish the feat.

(Undated)  —  The non-waiver trade deadline in Major League Baseball is today.  Teams have until 4:00 p.m. Eastern to complete deals.  Pitchers that could be on the move before the deadline include Oakland’s Sonny Gray, Detroit’s Justin Verlander and the Rangers’ Yu Darvish.

>>Ravens Considering Signing Kaepernick

(Owings Mills, MD)  —  Colin Kaepernick could soon have a new home.  The “Baltimore Sun” reports the Ravens are weighing the decision of possibly signing the quarterback.  Kaepernick, who has been a free agent since March, came under fire for kneeling during the national anthem last season.

>>Kyle Busch Earns First Win At Pocono

(Long Pond, PA)  —  Kyle Busch is the winner of the Overton’s 400 at Pocono Raceway.  Busch took the checkered flag for the first time at Pocono and snapped a 36-race winless streak.  Kevin Harvick, Martin Truex Jr., Denny Hamlin and Brad Keselowski rounded out the top five.
