(Charlotte, NC) — The University of Maryland-Baltimore County’s Cinderella season is over following a 50-43 loss to Kansas State on Sunday. The 16th-seed Retrievers upset top-ranked Virginia on Friday night, becoming the first 16-seed to beat a one-seed in the men’s tournament. UMBC ends the season at 25-and-11.

(Undated) — A couple of two-seeds, a one-seed and a three-seed are going home at the NCAA Tournament after losses on Sunday. Defending champion and two-seed North Carolina was bounced from the tournament with an 86-65 loss to Texas A&M. One-seed Xavier blew a late lead and lost to Florida State 75-70. Two-seed Cincinnati fell to Nevada, and third-seed Michigan State was beaten by Syracuse. The Sweet 16 tips off Thursday.

(Toronto, Ontario) — Russell Westbrook piled up 37 points, 14 assists and 13 rebounds as the Thunder dropped the Raptors 132-125 in Toronto. The win ended an 11-game win streak for Toronto. DeMar DeRozan, Serge Ibaka and head coach Dwane Casey were ejected in the final minute, and Kyle Lowry fouled out. The Raptors are still first in the East at 52-and-18.

(New York, NY) — The New York Jets are moving up in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft. The Jets traded the sixth overall pick and three second rounders to the Indianapolis Colts for the third overall pick. The Colts get the 37th and 49th overall picks in this year’s draft, plus a second-rounder in 2019.

(Orlando, FL) — Rory McIlroy birdied five of the final six holes to win the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill. McIlroy fired an eight-under 64 in Sunday’s final round to finish at 18-under-par for the tournament. Tiger Woods tied with Ryan Moore for fifth place at 10-under. Woods will compete in the Masters Tournament next month.
