James was held to 15 points on 5-of-16 shooting due to a solid defensive effort led by Marcus Morris. Morris also added 21 points and 10 rebounds as the Celtics took a 1-0 lead in the best-of-seven series. Game Two is in Boston tomorrow.

Devante Smith-Pelly tied the game at two early in the second period followed by Lars Eller and Evgeny Kuznetsov hitting the back of the net in the final one-minute-and-two-seconds of the same period. Washington heads home with a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven series.

(Ponte Vedra Beach, FL) — Webb Simpson is the winner of The Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass. Simpson led by seven-strokes entering Sunday and carded a one-over 73 to finish at 18-under par for the weekend. Tiger Woods was unable to make a significant charge after his 65 on Saturday rocketed him 59-spots up the leaderboard. Tiger fired a final round 69 and finished in a six-way tie for 11th at 11-under-par.

(Phoenix, AZ) — Mark Reynolds’ two-run blast against his former team put the Nationals in front as they finished off a four-game sweep of the Diamondbacks with a 6-4 win at Chase Field. Archie Bradley gave up the game-winning homer and took the loss. It was Reynolds’ second bomb of his Nats’ debut, while teammates Bryce Harper and Trea Turner also left the yard. Washington 13-and-2 over its last 15 games.
