Devante Smith-Pelly also lit the lamp as they Caps evened the best-of-seven set at three games apiece. The Bolts host the series decider tomorrow night.

Soto struck out as a pinch-hitter in his MLB debut on Sunday. He’s the youngest player in the majors.

(Philadelphia, PA) — Nick Pivetta fired seven innings of four-hit ball as the Phillies shut out the Braves 3-0 in the first of a three-game NL East showdown in Philadelphia. Nick Williams and Aaron Altherr both homered for the Phillies, who have won nine of their last 12 games to improve to 27-and-18. Philadelphia is now just a half-game behind Atlanta for the division lead.
