The Ringer posted a story based off an anonymous tip that 76ers president of basketball operations Bryan Colangelo was running five burner accounts on Twitter. The accounts criticized Philly’s own Joel Embiid [[ jo-ELL em-BEED ]] and former Sixers GM Sam Hinkie. ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported Embiid told him that Colangelo denied the story, but it’d be “really bad” if it was true.

(Philadelphia, PA) — Sixers head coach Brett Brown is being rewarded for his team’s success this past season. ESPN reports he’s agreed to a three-year contract extension. Brown took over in Philadelphia in 2013 and has a 127-and-283 record over five seasons. The Sixers won 52 games this past season and advanced to the Eastern Conference semifinals. He had one year left on his current deal.

(Bronx, NY) — Gleyber Torres singled in the winning run in the bottom of the 10th inning as the Yankees outlasted the Astros 6-5 at Yankee Stadium. Brett Gardner homered twice, including a game-tying, two-run shot in the bottom of the ninth. Aaron Judge also homered for New York, which trailed 5-2 in the fifth inning. Aroldis Chapman got the win. The Yankees won despite making five errors.
