(Atlanta, GA) — The Hawks and Mike Budenholzer are no longer an item. Budenholzer has agreed to mutually part ways with the organization after five years as head coach. According to ESPN, “Bud” met with Atlanta ownership and GM Travis Schlenk on Tuesday, with the group deciding it’s best for everyone to go in a different direction. Budenholzer had two years and over 14-million-dollars left on his contract.
