>>Nationals Bash Eight Homers In Win Over Brewers

(Washington, DC)  —  The Nationals matched a franchise record with eight home runs in their 15-2 blasting of the Brewers.  The Nats also tied an MLB record with five homers in a single inning.  Bryce Harper and Ryan Zimmerman hit two apiece in the victory.

>>Judge Chips Tooth During Celebration

(Bronx, NY)  —  Yankees slugger Aaron Judge is in need of some dental work.  Judge broke a tooth during New York’s on-field celebration following last night’s 6-5, 11-inning win over the Rays.  Judge appeared to chip the tooth on the helmet of Brett Gardner, who hit a walk-off solo homer.

>>Mets Ship Duda To Rays

(Undated)  —  Lucas Duda is heading to the American League.  The Mets have traded their starting first baseman to the Rays for minor league pitcher Drew Smith.  The 31-year-old Duda is hitting .246 with 17 homers and 37 RBI this season.

>>Unsigned Bell A No-Show At Steelers’ Camp

(Latrobe, PA)  —  The Steelers are starting training camp without starting running back Le’Veon Bell.  He did not report with the rest of the team on Thursday.  The two sides failed to reach a long-term contract before the July 17th deadline.  Bell still hasn’t signed his one-year tender of more than 12-million dollars.

>>Helton Says Simpson Not Welcome At USC

(Los Angeles, CA)  —  USC head football coach Clay Helton says former star O.J. Simpson is not welcome on campus.  Simpson was granted parole in Nevada last week.  Simpson won the Heisman Trophy while playing for the Trojans in 1968.
