Two new interchanges along Interstate 65 could help reduce traffic congestion in Lebanon, an engineer told the city council, while new routes should be sought for north-south travel through the city.
Those and other recommendations are part of a thoroughfare master plan update prepared by HWC Engineering for Lebanon. HWC has also written a thoroughfare master plan for the county and for Whitestown, and is coordinating those documents, said Chris Hamm of HWC, who spoke at a city council meeting last month.
A formal presentation of the plan will be made at the July 17 Lebanon Plan Commission meeting, Hamm said. More details are available in the Lebanon Reporter.
