With the loss of the pine trees around the courthouse, city leaders replaced the Christmas look with a new tree. It’s the start of a new tradition for Lebanon. A crew from the parks department spent Monday afternoon assembling the 26-foot tree. It consists of five rings and a top cone sporting a star. The decoration cost more than $16,000 with the money coming from state casino and riverboat tax distribution. The tree is expected to be used for several years to come.
