Mrs. Norma Jean Morrow, 95, passed away on Friday, April 15, 2022, at Homewood Health Campus in Lebanon, Indiana. She was born October 30, 1926, in Indianapolis; a daughter of the late Harold C. and Blanche O. (Lewis) Wills.

Norma attended Lebanon High School for a few of years before moving near Dover where she graduated in 1944 from Dover High School. On June 4, 1944, she married Robert Lee Morrow; they shared 59 years before he passed away on January 23, 2003.

She was bookkeeper/secretary for the United Methodist Children’s Home in Lebanon for 25 years under the late Rev. Davis.

Norma loved family life, helping with gardening and preserving the extra produce for cold weather and Sunday dinners. She was an excellent cook and baker, always having angel food cake or strawberry rhubarb pie at family gatherings. She and Robert often spent their winters in Zephyrhills, Florida. Norma was a long-time member of the Christian Church in Mechanicsburg until recently moving her membership to Thorntown Christian Church.

She was a master Bridge player and enjoyed playing the organ, riding bikes, traveling and vacationing with family. Norma was a tremendous seamstress, teaching several of her grandchildren her art of sewing. She was also an avid rose gardener, loved camping and four-wheeling. She was devoted to her faith, loving family, and friends.

Survivors include her children, Judith Elaine (Michael) Ashley of Laurinburg, North Carolina, Kenneth Lee “Ken” Morrow of Thorntown, Douglas Edward Morrow of Laurinburg, North Carolina; grandchildren, Michelle McCain, Shawn McCain, Christine Ashely, K. Scott Morrow, Tracee Boyles, Wade Morrow, Bonnie Morrow; several great grandchildren; sister, Marilyn Harris of San Diego, California.

In addition to her parents and husband, Norma was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Wills and daughter-in-law, Linda Morrow.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 21, 2022, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street in Lebanon, Indiana.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 8:30 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home in Lebanon. Norma will be laid to rest at Green Lawn Cemetery in Frankfort, Indiana
