Norma June Noland, 95, passed away on Friday, January 19, 2024, at Signature Healthcare at Parkwood. She was born July 1, 1928, in Boone County, a daughter of the late Raleigh Norville Copenhaver and Letha Fern (Hine) Copenhaver.

On October 23, 1946, she was united in marriage to Frederick Earl Noland in Lebanon; he preceded her in death on September 3, 1994.

Norma was a 1946 graduate of Pinnell High School.

After her mother’s death in 1945, Norma helped take care of her brothers and sisters and would work nights and weekends at the dime store. She was also employed at Shelby Chevrolet, Ace Hardware, and for 22 years, Norma was a cook at Barron Collier High School.

She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Norma enjoyed relaxing in hot tubs, golf cart rides and being with her family. Since 1977, when colder weather came around Norma would winter in Florida. She attended Milledgeville Church, and was a Naples Life member, VFW Auxiliary Golden Gate #7721 member in Naples, Florida, and was in the Gingham Gals Home Economics Club.

Norma is survived by her two daughters, Rita (Dennis) Parks and Lynda (Kevin) Dominick; one son, Rob (Julie) Noland; grandchildren, Deanna Hammond, Dean Parks, Neil Vickery, Aric Vickery, Kady Dominick, Kari Wethington, and Amber Turner; great grandchildren, Andie, Kyrah, Rilynn, Landen, Zachary, Matthew, Alyssa, Grace, Sophia, Charlotte, Ella; and sisters, Sue Bennington, and Charlene Woodard.

In addition to her parents and husband, Norma was preceded in death by her son, Charles Noland; sisters, Mildred (Cecil) Plunket, Olive (Albert) Seymour, Mary Croft, Fern (Kenneth) Ward, Barbara (Albert) Hutson, Judith Copenhaver, and Phyllis Dale; and brothers, Richard Copenhaver, Joe (Anita) Copenhaver, and Jack (Sandy) Copenhaver.

Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Dover Cemetery, in Dover, Indiana. Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory have been entrusted with her arrangements.
