Eric L. Louks, age 66, of Brownsburg, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 27, 2019, in the comfort of his home and surrounded by family. He was born the son of the late Eugene Lavon and Elsa Louisa Maria (Wegewarth) Louks, on May 9, 1953 in Lebanon; however, he grew up in Thorntown, Indiana.

Eric began his lifetime career in the automotive industry which afforded him not only many lifelong friends but the ability to follow his passion for music. It was while performing as a member of the band “Five Easy Pieces” that Eric met his wife, Cheryl. They married in 1983 and resided in Indianapolis, before moving to Brownsburg, Indiana to raise their family.

Eric “Pops” is survived by his wife, Cheryl, of 36 years; two sons, Ryan (Kristin) Weston and Jordan (Jessica) Louks; daughter, Alexis Louks; two grandchildren, Caden Weston and Natalie Louks; several beloved cousins, nephews, and dear friends.

The family will be celebrating his life with visiting hours from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 30, 2019, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana.

Funeral Services are planned for 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 31, at the funeral home in Lebanon. Burial will follow services at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon.
