Fredrick “Fred” Jacob Roth, 75, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2019 in Lebanon, Indiana. Born in Portland, Oregon to the late William Roth and Marjorie (Roberts) Roth.

Fred spent his early years in Portland before his family settled in the Bay Area of California.

He graduated from El Cerrito High School. Fred spent a good part of his years as a roofer, owning his own business when he moved to Michigan in the 1970’s.

Fred was a lover of fireworks, any Michigan and California sports teams, had a passion for boxing, loved to cook-and he was good at it! He was an R & B enthusiast and couldn’t get enough of the likes of Sam Cooke and James Brown. Fred was a big fan of classic movies and science fiction.

Fred is survived by his wife, Desiree; his children, Pat (Brenda) Roth, Stefanie (Bryan) Dever, Anthony Roth and Nickolas Roth. He was a proud PopPop to his 8 grandchildren, Gabrielle Roth, Callie Roth, Kaylin Dever, Mya Dever, Logan Dever, AJ Roth, Kloee Roth, and Ashley Roth; brothers, William (Karen) Roth and Michael Martin Roth.

In addition to his parents, Fred was preceded in death by one sister, Marilyn (Scott) Daughtery, and previous wife, Suzanne Josephson.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 p.m., Friday, April 5, 2019, at Centenary United Methodist Church, 910 Fordice Road, Lebanon, Indiana with Rev. Anthony Stone officiating.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the church in Lebanon.

Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory have been entrusted with his arrangements.
