Mary Frances Boyland, 96, of Lebanon passed away on July 2, 2019 at Homewood Healthcare in Lebanon. She was born on May 28, 1923 in Boone County, Indiana; a daughter of the late Ray and Vern (Henton) Smith.
She attended Lebanon High School. On February 28, 1940 she was married to Otis W. Boyland in Lebanon, Indiana. He passed away on July 30, 1987. They lived together in Kokomo in the early seventies before residing back in Lebanon.
Mary managed the laundry service in a nursing home while living in Kokomo.
She was a devoted to her family. She loved tending to flowers in her yard and being with her cats. She also enjoyed attending church at Milledgeville United Methodist, watching sports, shopping, being with her family and spending time on the weekends at her lakehouse.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by sister, Joanne Smith; grandson, Blaine Aaron Boyland and great granddaughter, Gabrielle Hill.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 8, 2019, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, Lebanon, Indiana.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Monday at the funeral home in Lebanon.
Interment will follow services at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the charity of the donor’s choice
