Mr. Perry Cole, 68, of Advance, passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at his home surrounded by family. He was born Oct. 20, 1954, in Marion, a son of the late Richard and Patsy (Nelson) Cole. He married Karrie Anne Turner June 13, 1998, and she survives.
Perry graduated from Marion High School with the class of 1973. He worked in research control for a wire company for 26 years, retiring in 2015. He loved hunting and fishing, especially for deer and bass.
Survivors include his loving wife, Karrie Cole of Advance; sons, Jason (Amanda) Cole of Kansas, Jared (Crystal) Cole of Thorntown, and Zackery Cole of Advance; daughters, Jennifer (Jerry) Collier of Advance and Kora (Cortlandt) Overbay of Advance; brothers, Larry (Julie) Cole of Delphi and Kevin Cole of Anderson; sister, Penny (Dan) Hughes of Pennsylvania; and grandchildren, McKensey Cole, Ciara Cole, Noah Cole, Hunter Cole, Austin Cole, Parker Collier, Annabelle Collier, Bow Overbay, and Benjamin Overbay.
Family and friends will gather Monday, Sep. 25, for visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon.
