Phyllis F. Jackson, 95, passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at Signature Healthcare at Parkwood in Lebanon, Indiana. She was born in Whitestown, Indiana on September 3, 1927, a daughter of the late Clarence and Violet Hand.
She was united in marriage to Herschel K. Jackson in 1947. He preceded her in death on June 26, 1982.
Raised in Boone County, she was a graduate of Whitestown High School. Phyllis worked for over 30 years as a claims examiner for Economy Fire & Casualty in Lebanon.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Phyllis is survived by her children, Ron (Laura) Jackson of Fishers, Stan (Carol) Jackson of Indianapolis, and Karen (Chris) Meneely of Delaware: and grandchildren: Kirby Jackson, Molly Jackson, Selene Jackson Combs, Cassie Jackson Duncan, and Jason Jackson.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Phyllis was preceded in death by all of her siblings.
Graveside Services will be held at a later date at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon. Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory have been entrusted with her cremation arrangements.
