A charity polo match raised nearly $5,000 for the Lebanon Community of Shalom on Feed Boone County Night. Tickets were sold for $20 and allowed a whole carload of people into the Hickory Hall Polo Club on Friday night. Lebanon Community of Shalom has two meal programs including the Hot Meals Program which serves meals Tuesday evenings, Saturday afternoons and the Last Thursday evenings of the month. Meals are also delivered to those who have physical limitations. The other program is the Shalom Kid’s Sack Lunch Program which distributes a week of non perishable sack lunches from eight county-wide sites to school-age children.
